The Grooming Place

The Grooming Place opened its doors in Spring of 2001.  We are proud to offer pet owners the comfort of knowing their pets are safe in our care.  We strive to keep an extremely clean environment, and we take extra precautions to ensure pets' safety.  Experienced groomers and friendly staff allow pets to be comfortable during their visit.  We love seeing dogs running in the door, excited to be back for another bath and haircut!

Locally Owned

The Grooming Place is owned by a local Flower Mound resident who has worked as a groomer for 20 years. 

Who We Are

Kristi Holmes, Groomer - Kristi has lived in the Flower Mound area for 15 years.  She has 20 years of grooming experience.

Mary McLendon, Manager - Mary works up front, bringing dogs in and sending them home.  She will be happy to help you with all your questions. 

Floyd Saine, Groomer - Floyd has 20 years of grooming experience, and has been with The Grooming Place since 2002.

Allison Bowers, Bather/Groomer - Allison has been working with us for over 3 years when she is not in school.  She is now in her first year of college, but we appreciate any time she can give us.

Colton Love, Bather - Colton has been with us for nearly 3 years.  He is still in school, so he works as much as he can, coming in every day after school and thoroughly cleaning the shop.

Ray, Bather - Ray has been with us for nearly 2 years, and he is the one that gets the dogs so clean.

Jon, Bather - Jon has been with us for about 2 years.  We appreciate his hard work brushing and drying dogs and keeping the shop clean.
